Just a quick note for anyone wanting to meet us. We’ll be at the Wortley Hall wedding show in Sheffield this weekend (on Sunday) If you’re around, drop in and have a chat. Its a lovely venue with real character and lovely grounds. Here’s a couple of shots from a wedding we shot last winter.
WOWOver the weekend we had the pleasure of shooting a fantastic birthday party. We cant tell you where the venue was or who the party was for (we’re sworn to secrecy) but suffice to say that any birthday party with fireworks like this was a pretty special affair… Not to mention the very special celebrity appearance. Sorry, cant tell you who.
We’re Exhibiting at the Yorkshire Brides show this spring! See you there Charlotte Now then. Sometimes when you’re a photographer you find that your own stuff gets left at the back of the queue, you know… builders never have a finished house and all that. Well, over Christmas we popped over to see friends (even though they live in Lancashire). We’ve shot Emily and Chloe before, but we just went out for a walk in the crisp December air and me being me, i took my 5D with my spangly new 50mm lens. The light was fantastic and we had a really great time. All in all a really good afternoon even though Charlie had to cook and Martyn missed the footy. Anyway, here’s a couple of shots we sneaked off…
Hi everyone Before the snow came we drove out to the East Coast to shoot a couple of our four legged friends. Bertie is a really small Jack Russell and is a real terrier. He’s the cutest thing though with his little pink nose. He can certainly move though and outran Mattie a few times chasing the ball. He’s a real character and was a real cheeky chappie to shoot.
Mattie is a rescue dog that spent some time with the dogs trust (which is also where we got Sam from). She’s a real lover and loves to lick faces, hands, legs and lenses as it turns out. Good job we always carry a towel!!
We ended up soaked from laying down in a sodden field. Ah well, its all worth it to get great images of a couple of lovely dogs really enjoying themselves. Do give the dogs trust your support whenever you can. They’re a great organisation that cares for abandoned dogs superbly. Let us know what you think of these photos. See ya soon Damian PS.
