Kate and Luke | Engagement Shoot

Kate and Luke are getting married in December at Bagden Hall and we thought we’d get in the mood with a funky Engagement Shoot in a top secret location in Huddersfield.

Kate’s just come off the back of running a marathon to raise a whole load of money for a cancer charity. She ran it solo after missing the organised marathon due to illness. All we can say is Wow! You are a real trouper and never, ever invite us for a workout. I don’t think we’d make it. If you’re feeling generous then drop some money in for Kate on this link….

Can’t wait for the big day so here’s a single sneaky peak from the shoot….

Shelly and Jemma: Mrs and Mrs!!

Talk about exciting!

We were honoured when Shelly and Jemma chose us to be their photographers. We know its supposed to be called a Civil Partnership, but I challenge anyone to call it that when its pretty obvious to us that it was a beautiful, glorious wedding. In fact in Shelly and Jemma’s words their “Big Fat Gay Wedding”.

We love to travel and new venues to us are a real treat, so to get down to a part of the world we love and have family in was a double brilliant thing. Add some truly wonderful weather and a properly excitable couple in a lovely venue, we had such a memorable day.

Its also the day that Damian dropped a brand new camera and lens combo from 5ft onto a stone floor, where he discovered that Canon’s do not bounce maybe as well as he thought and that new swear words are only a hop skip and a jump away when you trash three grands worth of kit..

We still had a superb time though, so thanks Girls (and Michael). you’re two and a best man in a million

Sarah and Matt: Wortley Hall, Sheffield

Hi Everyone

It’s difficult for us sometimes to put into words how much we enjoy spending time with our clients, and some people don’t believe us when we say that we genuinely love to share wedding days with Brides, Grooms and their families.

All we can say is, have a look at the images from Sarah and Matt’s wedding at Wortley Hall and tell us that you wouldn’t enjoy every second of this fabulous day.

Sarah and Matt know how to put on a party. There’s no excuse for Sarah as she’s an event manager. But even Sarah managed to lose the clipboard to really enjoy the day from beginning to end.

We had a great time guys, thank you for being great fun. We’re so looking forward to your album arriving from Queensberry.

If you’re thinking about a Queensberry album, then this video might show the love, care and attention to quality and detail that goes into every album. Check it out HERE

Bex and David : Engagement Shoot

Sometimes the light just behaves itself perfectly, making that lovely soft, warm glow that just wraps itself round everything it touches. its so nice when that happens, especially when you’re shooting a lovely couple who are being super creative about their October Wedding plans.

You really need to check out Bex’s blog about her wedding plans… The creativeness and care that’s being taken to make this a truly stunning day is truly impressive. Go girl!!!

Check it out here…. http://mastandmoorland.wordpress.com/

Becky and Brendan’s Wedding (Pass me the tissues please)

Wow!

Becky and Brendan certainly know how to throw a party and their story is so moving and genuine that I’m even filling up a bit as I’m writing this. Who said men don’t cry??

We always get involved with our couples. Its part of why we love what we do. But when you’ve already shot the wedding of got one of the bridesmaids and the best men, as well as one of the guests, then you know its going to be a good day.

We absolutely had a ball shooting this wedding at Badgen Hall in Denby Dale. Everyone was really cool and made our lives easy on the day, and apart from Tyler (the brides young son) not wanting to tuck his shirt in or walk mum down the aisle it all went swimmingly.

It was great to have Amy with us, supporting as a second shooter and she got some lovely shots of the girls and the guys that Becky and Brendan didn’t know anything about until the viewing.

Amy is in the UK with her husband as he does some really impressive qualification I cant remember, but back in Canada she has her own photography business. She’s cool, and we’ll be having Amy with us for a few more weddings this year before she disappears back home.

Anyhow, here’s a small selection from the day’s shots. If you were there, then you’ll have the password to get to the rest on our client site here

Enjoy! We did

Damian:-)
