They wanted a relaxed day without loosing traditional features of a country manor house wedding so kept all the celebrations to the venue.

We were all blessed with great weather for the day so we were able to create a whole series of chapters to their story.

A real team effort, we ended up with 4 models, a bunch of gowns and a few lenses, so a massive thanks to the team for pulling it off in proper order. I lost count of the bags of lighting gear we got through. Thanks goes as always to The Flash Centre for feeding my appetite for gear.

Full respect for the extra shooting power from my buddies Michael, Chris and John

As active members of the chapel, there really was only one place where Lynne and Michael were going to be married and it was super to experience a ceremony so meaningful to all those present.

Lynne allowed Michael to choose a fantastic MK1 Jag for their transport and we couldn’t resist a Top Gear shot as we overtook on the way back to the venue.

We are in the process of designing a fantastic Queensberry Duo album for Lynne and Michael. We’ll blog and Facebook that once the craftsmen have done their stuff in New Zealand.

We wanted to create a number of looks for Amber in the time we had together, one of these looks did involve some undressing and pouting, so please don’t be looking at the images if you get upset by a little flesh and cheeky boobs.

Steph and Mark chose The Mansion, Roundhay Park for their Wedding.

Steph chose a colour palette that included orange and pink with the result being a a burst of summer that perfectly complimented the venue and the day

We couldn’t resist popping in here what Steph said about us though. Its always fantastic when we can help a couple through their day and because we’re with you all day we can guide and smooth the way so you don’t have to worry about anything.

Steph and Mark said “Damian and Charlotte were worth every penny we paid. We loved them from our first meeting and knew they were the photographer for us. Our pictures are amazing and Damian captured the day perfectly with a fun attitude and creativity. On the wedding day I don’t think I have ever met anyone more organised than Charlotte and a more tolerant photographer than Damian who didn’t mind the ushers jumping on top of each other (and him!)”

Soulton specialises in very personal weddings and Jo and Davids was no exception to that. David started of as every wedding day should start, with a quick 9 holes knocked in with the chaps whilst Jo spent the morning with family from the North East.

We were blessed with fabulous weather all day and the beautiful light at the end of the day lit up the house and gardens in a glorious warm glow. Wonderful couple, lovely venue, great times.

Christine’s Mum is a vicar and so when the civil ceremony was complete everyone moved outside for the blessing conducted by Mum. We were hugely impressed how everyone kept it together . We know that we’d have been in bits had that happened to us.

Chris’s sense of humour extended out to all of the chaps so we had a bit of fun with catalogue poses (their choice), following which, the croquet skills were something to behold. We also found out that girls are much better than chaps at giant Jenga. Much, much better in fact. We think it must have been the beer and sun!!

Lovely day, lovely people

We got great sun all day and the garden was perfect for the chaps to help reduce the European beer mountain.

I’m pretty sure the cookbook that was presented to John during the speeches was not entirely genuine but Gemma looked fantastic in her gown with john showing on a couple of occasions that he’ s big softy really.

In the run up to the wedding we always get together for a Pre Wedding shoot and it was no different for Rebecca and Richard. We shot in and around Crow Hill in Marsden and used a bit of combined local knowledge to find the perfect spot for a Sun vs. Flash finish shot with Rebecca’s funky little drop top.

Looking forward to the wedding complete with horse drawn carriage and a hand made dress that no one has seen. Hmmm, whats it going to be like???

Felicity and Andrew chose Wortley Hall in Sheffield for their wedding so they could have a really grande, beautiful old building all to themselves to celebrate. The weather decided to spoil its manners once the ceremony had started so everyone enjoyed the inside of Wortley until late… Very late….

We had a thoroughly fun day with Felicity’s sweet smile and Andrew’s infectious laugh. A more loved up couple you could not find.
