Christine and Chris | Hodsock Priory Wedding Photography

Christine and Chris chose Hodsock Priory for their wedding but added some very special elements to their day to make it truly their own.

Christine’s Mum is a vicar and so when the civil ceremony was complete everyone moved outside for the blessing conducted by Mum. We were hugely impressed how everyone kept it together . We know that we’d have been in bits had that happened to us.

Chris’s sense of humour extended out to all of the chaps so we had a bit of fun with catalogue poses (their choice), following which, the croquet skills were something to behold. We also found out that girls are much better than chaps at giant Jenga. Much, much better in fact. We think it must have been the beer and sun!!

Lovely day, lovely people

Sarah and Andrew | Whitley Hall Wedding Photography

We had te pleasure of sharing Sarah and Andrew’s wedding day recently at Whitley Hall in Sheffield. We shared the venue with a couple of feisty peacocks and anyone who’s been to Whitley will now they aren’t shy.

Sarah and Andrews wedding was a lovely family focussed affair and the relaxed ambiance of the venue helped to make it a thoroughly enjoyable day.

We couldn’t resist getting the flashguns out for some shots on the pier later in the day and we’re thankful the rain held off so we could wrap up the shooting outside before we slipped onto the dance floor to grab Sarah and Andrew’s perfectly choreographed first dance.

Sarah and Phil | Lower Bradfield Wedding Photography

We must have a thing about FireFighters. Two in as many weeks. They know how to party!

Sarah and Phil decided to get married at the beautifully picturesque High Bradfield church then meandedred down the hillside to have their reception and celebrations in the village hall in Lower Bradfield

Despite threatening to spoil its manners the weather behaved just at teh right times for us and we took full advantage of Autumn sunlight streaming through the trees. It was really magical light for some of the afternoon.

Phil and Sarah’s friends had dressed the room in Brown and Orange and the village hall looked tremendous, with lots of twinkly lights and crystals. During the meal they had a fab singer and guitarist to keep everyone entertained. Tell you what, that girl Kat can sing…

We couldn’t resist getting the flashguns out later to mess about with a few shots on the tennis courts next to the hall (there’s one shot in the collage below0 and even though we didn’t leave until after 10pm we missed the boys from the fire station doing the full monty….

We had so many laughs with Phil and Sarah, it was another fantastic day in the office

Felicity & Andrew Pre Wedding Shoot in Sheffield

We had a quick trip south to Sheffield to shoot Felicity and Andrew’s Pre Wedding shoot a few weeks ago. Its fair to say it was just a bit chilly, but thanks to a bit of spot on local knowledge Andrew found us a fantastic location. We could have shot all day, but frozen fingers and runny noses stopped play. Even Shirley the dog joined in.

We can’t wait to shoot these guy’s wedding. Felicity is a real fifties style freak and is going all out for a Pink theme complete with Cadillac, sparkly balloons and everything else glamorous.

Wortley Hall will never be the same again!!

Seriously though, we love the look we got and we know we’re going to have a fun day in May>>>

Sarah and Matt Pre Wedding Shoot Sneaky Peek

OK. I’m under strict instructions to just put one image on here because Charlotte thinks that Sarah is quite looking forward to seeing these and she might get a bit over excited with more than one.

Spent a couple of hours with these two lovers in Sheffield at the weekend. Did my usual thing of nearly forgetting my equipment in one location (thanks Charlotte) and we were getting some very funny looks from the people in an apartment when we were finishing up, but Hey. its art darling!

Oh, and Matt… The settings for this are secret! I’d have to kill you if i told you:-)
