Bridal Fashion at The Met Hotel, Leeds

We had the pleasure of shooting some cool bridal fashion for Precious Bridal at the Leeds Met Hotel recently.

A real team effort, we ended up with 4 models, a bunch of gowns and a few lenses, so a massive thanks to the team for pulling it off in proper order. I lost count of the bags of lighting gear we got through. Thanks goes as always to The Flash Centre for feeding my appetite for gear.

Here are a few shots from the day and but take a look at the links to all involved. Great people to work with and really quality focussed

Steph and Mark | The Mansion, Roundhay Park Wedding Photography

Wedding in the park

Steph and Mark chose The Mansion, Roundhay Park for their Wedding.

Steph chose a colour palette that included orange and pink with the result being a a burst of summer that perfectly complimented the venue and the day

Steph and Mark’s wedding has been so popular that it was has been featured on the Brides up North Wedding Blog. Steph contributed all the words for the article so its worth having a read. Here’s the link  http://bridesupnorth.com/2011/09/07/let-the-sun-shine-a-real-wedding-steph-mark/

We couldn’t resist popping in here what Steph said about us though. Its always fantastic when we can help a couple through their day and because we’re with you all day we can guide and smooth the way so you don’t have to worry about anything.

Steph and Mark said “Damian and Charlotte were worth every penny we paid. We loved them from our first meeting and knew they were the photographer for us. Our pictures are amazing and Damian captured the day perfectly with a fun attitude and creativity. On the wedding day I don’t think I have ever met anyone more organised than Charlotte and a more tolerant photographer than Damian who didn’t mind the ushers jumping on top of each other (and him!)”

You can also see the wedding in print as it’s featured in the latest edition of I Do magazine.

Sarah and Andrew | Whitley Hall Wedding Photography

We had te pleasure of sharing Sarah and Andrew’s wedding day recently at Whitley Hall in Sheffield. We shared the venue with a couple of feisty peacocks and anyone who’s been to Whitley will now they aren’t shy.

Sarah and Andrews wedding was a lovely family focussed affair and the relaxed ambiance of the venue helped to make it a thoroughly enjoyable day.

We couldn’t resist getting the flashguns out for some shots on the pier later in the day and we’re thankful the rain held off so we could wrap up the shooting outside before we slipped onto the dance floor to grab Sarah and Andrew’s perfectly choreographed first dance.

Emily and Matt | Tabley House Estate Wedding Photography

We’re getting ready to exhibit at the Tatton Park wedding show this weekend and it bought to mind a wedding from last year that we hadn’t blogged yet. It was nice to have a look through these images again and remembering the scorching day we had back in August.

Emily and Matt tied the knot at St Wilfreds in Davenham before nipping down the main road in a beautiful old Morgan to the Tabley Hall Estate where they had organised a marquee in the meadow by the lake. Gorgeous location!

Charlotte said that Emily’s was her favourite colour palette from all the weddings we shot last year. Its certainly true that the yellow reflected the day’s personality and temperature. Boy, it was hot!

The day ended with Emily talking to the cows in the next meadow. We’re saying nothing, but we think it all went well!

Shelly & Jemma’s Pre Wedding Shoot

This one’s a first for us!

Shelly & Jemma have the dubious honour of being our first gay wedding, and are getting hitched at Caistor Hall in Norwich this July. If the pre wedding shoot was anything to go by then we’re in for a hoot.

The girls live in Ormskirk, so after a 90 minute drive, stopping the shoot for a bit of rain just wasn’t an option and Damian got absolutely soaked. We all gave him the sympathy he deserved!!!!! At least the dogs didn’t laugh at him (much).

We’re so pleased to be involved in Shelly and Jemma’s day. Who could resist saying no to shooting 2 gorgeous girls in a fabulous location on a great day?

Here’s a few images from the shoot. Only 2 locations and a bit of imagination. Surprising what you can do in a derelict electricity sub station with a dodgy floor and lots of sharp things…

Charlotte:-)
