Lynne and Michael | Bagden Hall Wedding

Lynne and Michael chose Bagden Hall for their celebrations after their wedding ceremony in the delightfully intimate chapel at Newmillerdam in Wakefield. As active members of the chapel, there really was only one place where Lynne and Michael were going to be married and it was super to experience a ceremony so meaningful to all those present.

Lynne allowed Michael to choose a fantastic MK1 Jag for their transport and we couldn't resist a Top Gear shot as we overtook on the way back to the venue.

We are in the process of designing a fantastic Queensberry Duo album for Lynne and Michael. We'll blog and Facebook that once the craftsmen have done their stuff in New Zealand.

Kate and Luke | Bagden Hall Wedding Photography

Kate and Luke were married at St John's church in Golcar then made the 30 minute trip over to Bagden Hall for the rest of the celebrations (and there was lots of celebrating going on) Kate's friends had dresseed the reception room at Bagden and it was full of sparkle and shine. Just right to offset the very chilly and foggy December day. It was such a relaxed, lovely day and we even got a smile out of both Violet and Dillan (although Dillon was a hard one to catch up with).

The day was finished off properly with some exciting dance moves being pulled and the hog roast being snapped up.

So glad we could be there to share a really magical day

Clare and Richard | Hodsock Priory Wedding Photography

A wonderful relaxed wedding at the beautiful Hodsock Priory. One of the perks of our job is spending time in these magnificent old country houses. We have total respect for George and his family in keeping Hodsock looking so great, all the time. It did seem like Clare and Richard had chosen the coldest day of the year to get married. Damian is pretty warm blooded and even he put a jumper on. Thank goodness for the real fires.

The day started with Clare having her hair done at Rubies in Bawtry, the gang then moved to Hodsock where they where greeted with their fantastic bouquets, put together beautifuly by Jo Price Flowers They were just right for the time of year and looked fabulous set against the Christmas decorations.

Music is an important part of Clare and Richard's history and Clare's old piano teacher and her husband had written a piece especially for Clare and Richard. it was really touching. Less touching was being announced into your wedding breakfast to the sound of the Propellerheads "on her majesty's secret service". Cool!

Their simple but elegant cake was made by Sam at Little Goodies. Cup cakes all round!. It smelt way too good.

The evening was kicked of by The Nerds. Its fair to say they may be called The Nerds, but they can certainly bang a great tune out and it didnt take long for everyone to be on their feet.

Great day, Great fun. An absolute pleasure!

Becky and Brendan's Wedding (Pass me the tissues please)

Wow! Becky and Brendan certainly know how to throw a party and their story is so moving and genuine that I'm even filling up a bit as I'm writing this. Who said men don't cry??

We always get involved with our couples. Its part of why we love what we do. But when you've already shot the wedding of got one of the bridesmaids and the best men, as well as one of the guests, then you know its going to be a good day.

We absolutely had a ball shooting this wedding at Badgen Hall in Denby Dale. Everyone was really cool and made our lives easy on the day, and apart from Tyler (the brides young son) not wanting to tuck his shirt in or walk mum down the aisle it all went swimmingly.

It was great to have Amy with us, supporting as a second shooter and she got some lovely shots of the girls and the guys that Becky and Brendan didn't know anything about until the viewing.

Amy is in the UK with her husband as he does some really impressive qualification I cant remember, but back in Canada she has her own photography business. She's cool, and we'll be having Amy with us for a few more weddings this year before she disappears back home.

Anyhow, here's a small selection from the day's shots. If you were there, then you'll have the password to get to the rest on our client site here

Enjoy! We did

Damian :-)

Catherine & Thomas Wedding at Seaham and Lumley Castle

Hi Everyone Just before Christmas we had the pleasure of shooting Catherine & Thomas's wedding up in the North East.

The Wedding was held in a freezing cold but beautiful church in Dalton-Le-Dale with the reception held in Lumley Castle.

No one really expected the huge amount of snow fall that started just as the guests were starting their meals, and its ssafe to say that the castle had a few more rooms booked by those who couldn't get hold of taxis.

What an eventful and fanstastic day for everyone involved in a truly lovely setting with great people and finished with a superb firework display.

If you've got a password for the gallery then you'll need to go to and enter it there to see the full collection of images.

Best Wishes Damian & Charlotte
