Emily and Matt | Tabley House Estate Wedding Photography

We're getting ready to exhibit at the Tatton Park wedding show this weekend and it bought to mind a wedding from last year that we hadn't blogged yet. It was nice to have a look through these images again and remembering the scorching day we had back in August. Emily and Matt tied the knot at St Wilfreds in Davenham before nipping down the main road in a beautiful old Morgan to the Tabley Hall Estate where they had organised a marquee in the meadow by the lake. Gorgeous location!

Charlotte said that Emily's was her favourite colour palette from all the weddings we shot last year. Its certainly true that the yellow reflected the day's personality and temperature. Boy, it was hot!

The day ended with Emily talking to the cows in the next meadow. We're saying nothing, but we think it all went well!

Kate and Luke | Bagden Hall Wedding Photography

Kate and Luke were married at St John's church in Golcar then made the 30 minute trip over to Bagden Hall for the rest of the celebrations (and there was lots of celebrating going on) Kate's friends had dresseed the reception room at Bagden and it was full of sparkle and shine. Just right to offset the very chilly and foggy December day. It was such a relaxed, lovely day and we even got a smile out of both Violet and Dillan (although Dillon was a hard one to catch up with).

The day was finished off properly with some exciting dance moves being pulled and the hog roast being snapped up.

So glad we could be there to share a really magical day

Clare and Richard | Hodsock Priory Wedding Photography

A wonderful relaxed wedding at the beautiful Hodsock Priory. One of the perks of our job is spending time in these magnificent old country houses. We have total respect for George and his family in keeping Hodsock looking so great, all the time. It did seem like Clare and Richard had chosen the coldest day of the year to get married. Damian is pretty warm blooded and even he put a jumper on. Thank goodness for the real fires.

The day started with Clare having her hair done at Rubies in Bawtry, the gang then moved to Hodsock where they where greeted with their fantastic bouquets, put together beautifuly by Jo Price Flowers They were just right for the time of year and looked fabulous set against the Christmas decorations.

Music is an important part of Clare and Richard's history and Clare's old piano teacher and her husband had written a piece especially for Clare and Richard. it was really touching. Less touching was being announced into your wedding breakfast to the sound of the Propellerheads "on her majesty's secret service". Cool!

Their simple but elegant cake was made by Sam at Little Goodies. Cup cakes all round!. It smelt way too good.

The evening was kicked of by The Nerds. Its fair to say they may be called The Nerds, but they can certainly bang a great tune out and it didnt take long for everyone to be on their feet.

Great day, Great fun. An absolute pleasure!

Debbie and Nigel | Blackbrook House Wedding Photography

Looking back to the summer again, we had the pleasure of shooting Debbie and Nigel's wedding at Blackbrook House in Derbyshire. We seemed to have been blessed with a whole bunch of good weather in 2010 and although it spoiled its manners whilst every one was getting ready, once the lippy and frocks were on, the sun came out and stayed out

Blackbrook proved to be an inspiring place to spend a day and the service levels we saw from the team there were exceptional. It also helped that the food was superb and the evening was capped off by Nigel (assisted only a little by chef) preparing some crepes for everyone. Thanks Nigel, they were excellent!

Sarah and Phil | Lower Bradfield Wedding Photography

We must have a thing about FireFighters. Two in as many weeks. They know how to party! Sarah and Phil decided to get married at the beautifully picturesque High Bradfield church then meandedred down the hillside to have their reception and celebrations in the village hall in Lower Bradfield

Despite threatening to spoil its manners the weather behaved just at teh right times for us and we took full advantage of Autumn sunlight streaming through the trees. It was really magical light for some of the afternoon.

Phil and Sarah's friends had dressed the room in Brown and Orange and the village hall looked tremendous, with lots of twinkly lights and crystals. During the meal they had a fab singer and guitarist to keep everyone entertained. Tell you what, that girl Kat can sing...

We couldn't resist getting the flashguns out later to mess about with a few shots on the tennis courts next to the hall (there's one shot in the collage below0 and even though we didn’t leave until after 10pm we missed the boys from the fire station doing the full monty….

We had so many laughs with Phil and Sarah, it was another fantastic day in the office
